Bible Memory Program
Bible Memory Program
The purpose of the Bible Memory program at Grace is to encourage both children and adults to memorize God's Word. It is important to read the Bible and study it, but it is also very beneficial to memorize parts of it. This forces us to meditate on it and think about every aspect of the passage, and it sinks God's Word deep into our minds. It also means that we have it with us where ever we are, even if we don't have a Bible with us. The program also has extra rewards for children, as an added motivation. One of the options for rewards is money toward a Christian camp.
The hearers consist of the Pastors and the Growth Group leaders. See the program details for more information.
"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers." Psalm 1:1-3
